1. Scope of Services

New Chapter Signs ("the Company") provides a full suite of signage solutions, including:

• Strategy: Consultative services regarding brand placement and visibility.

• Design: Custom graphic design and technical layouts for signage.

• Production: Manufacturing of signage, including large-format vinyl and fabrication.

• Installation: Physical mounting and placement of signage at the client's designated location.
   

2. Quotes and Estimates

All quotes provided are valid for 30 days. Approval of any quote, estimate, or proposal constitutes the Client’s agreement to pay 100% of the quoted price, subject to the payment structure outlined in Section 3. Any changes to the scope (size, materials, location, or design) after approval will require a revised quote or change order.
 

3. Payment Terms & Deposit

• Deposit: A non-refundable 50% deposit of the total project cost is required to initiate design and production.

• Balance: The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of production or, if installation is included, immediately upon completion of the installation.

• Ownership: All materials, designs, and fabricated signage remain the property of New Chapter Signs until the invoice is paid in full.
   

4. Design & Proofing

The Client is responsible for reviewing and approving all proofs before production begins.

• New Chapter Signs is not responsible for errors (spelling, color, or layout) once a proof has been signed off by the Client.

• The Client represents that they own the rights to all logos or trademarks provided for the project.
   

5. Installation & Site Readiness

The Client is responsible for ensuring the installation site is accessible and prepared.

• Permits: Unless explicitly stated in the quote, obtaining necessary city or building permits is the responsibility of the Client.

• Electrical: New Chapter Signs is not a licensed electrical contractor. Any primary electrical power must be brought to the sign location by a licensed electrician prior to installation.
   

6. 90-Day Workmanship Warranty

New Chapter Signs stands behind the quality of our work. We provide a 90-Day Workmanship Warranty starting from the date of completion/installation.

• What is Covered: Defects in the installation process or manufacturing errors directly caused by the Company.

• What is Not Covered: Damage caused by weather events (storms, high winds), vandalism, accidents, normal wear and tear, or modifications made by third parties.

• Manufacturer Warranties: Material-specific warranties (e.g., vinyl lifespan or LED bulb life) are passed through from the manufacturer and governed by their specific terms.
   

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall New Chapter Signs be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of the use of the signage or the performance of services. The Company's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific project in question.

8. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which New Chapter Signs is registered.
